I was born to two loving parents, James and Mary Beasley Watkins in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I also had a loving and caring grandmother, Beatrice Collie who assisted my parents in rearing me. We were all members of 15th Ave Church of God in Fort Lauderdale , Florida, where I received Jesus as my LORD and Savior at the age of 22 under the leadership of Pastor William H. Gresham.

I also graduated from Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale. After graduating, I married John G. Brown. We have been married now for 49 years. We have three daughters, Chametras Brown Mosley, Shakita Brown Dunn, Latoyia Brown Moore. The Lord blessed us with a spiritual godson, Morris C Kelly. We also have six grandchildren. We are a retired military family who has lived in many cities and countries.

I attended Columbia College, where I received a BA in Psychology and Business Management. I also attended Graduate School in Springfield, Missouri at Drury College. After graduating, I taught Remedial Reading in Missouri. I was then offered a job from the State of Missouri to Pilot a program for Military families to adopt children.  I accepted the job.

We moved to Georgia January 1994. We answered the call of God to be a member of Martin Street Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Manuel Holston. I accepted the call of God to full-time ministry March 1994 and the call of God to full-time Pastoring July 1998 to Douglasville, Georgia. We were called to Church Plant, Faith Deliverance Church of God. I was then Licensed and Ordained by The Georgia Fellowship. The Lord has truly blessed us and anointed us for the Task.

If you can remember anything about me, it is I am a Born Again Christian who truly Loves the Lord. God First and foremost in my life.
