Dr. Rudolph Smith

The Georgia Fellowship is saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Rudolph Smith, Pastor Emeritus of the Community Church of God in Atlanta. Below is a message from Community Church of God:
Community Church of God is saddened by the passing Dr. Rudolph Smith. His intellect, spirit of humility, perseverance and pristine character were known to the nation and his love felt by the citizens of Atlanta, but we knew him as the founding pastor who faithfully served our beloved community for 32 years. For that, we are thankful. He was a champion for Christian unity and properly handling the Word of God. He will deeply be missed. Service details are forthcoming.
And a message from the Georgia Youth Inspirational Fellowship:
The Youth Inspirational Fellowship is saddened by the passing of Dr. Rudolph Smith. 65 years ago, "The Rabbi," as he was affectionately known, envisioned a ministry geared towards empowering future generations; developing young leaders strong in faith! He was a man of great intellect, humility, perseverance, and impeccable integrity! We will forever celebrate the life and legacy of OUR 1st president!!!
The Georgia Fellowship is thankful for the long and faithful leadership Dr. Smith shared in the state of Georgia. We celebrate with and extend our sympathies to the Smith family and Community Church of God as Dr. Smith enters into his eternal reward.
